I remember in the news some time ago, about a small child who had fallen between the cars because the car door opened suddenly while rounding a curve. There is a danger when one is between the cars.Actually, in that case, didn't the storm door fly open, and the child get launched outside to his death? I don't believe the child was outside of the car at the start of the curve. This is one reason why I believe all cars should have their storm doors normally locked (and retrofitted with emergency door openers a la the Boston T) once the R32-42 cars are retired. |
