OK, finally I've gotten some time to post pics from transit "mecca", the San Francisco bay area! :)Starting with Santa Clara VTA:  848 southbound on 1st St (or is it 2nd St?)at Santa Clara St in downtown San Jose in April 1997.  807 northbound on 1st St, north of downtown in September 1997 (my last visit to the bay area) Of course, the 800s are now gone from VTA, replaced by the 900-series low floor cars from (I think) Kinki-Sharyo. Some are in Sacramento (not sure if they are in service yet), while others are at Salt Lake City. |
