Agreed. It's in SI's interests to tie themselves more closely to New Jersey, and SI's status is basically irrelevant to the state's interests. Once they closed the landfill, SI became useless to the city. It's location makes it logical to be part of NJ, not NY.

Let's not forget, the only reason SI is part of NY is as a result of a boat race.
