Accidents may or may not be on the rise. The reporting of such "incidents" are certainly on the rise.Given the latest crop of babies trying to ride on the LIRR, you could surely imagine the rise in stairway related injuries, to say nothing of the delays that such portals force on entrance and egress. There would be such a hew and cry for high level platforms that you would never believe it. ROAR |
