Metrolink: This was during the first week of service in October 1992. I had Fridays off during that time, so I got up early, took the bus to Van Nuys station and got the last inbound train of the morning.  Later that morning at Union Station. Yes, it was raining that day (it was a few minutes later that I took the pic of the LADOT Stewart & Stevenson Apollo T-40 seen in this post.  A Metrolink train at Union Station in June 1993 (I was there to ride the just-opened line to Riverside). |
