There was another station with high platforms that was even closer to Jamaica than Richmond Hill, and that was Union Hall Street. That was only a few blocks from Jamaica. I remember stopping there on the Hempstead Line. If it didn't close it could have became a more useful station with the completion of Archer Avenue. |
