Yes, Broadway is not an MTA decision, but moving people around is, and it takes coordination.For congestion pricing to work, there needs to be other transportation. That transportation has to come from the MTA. LRVs are nice, but would take 20 years to build. Big buses could manage it, but then you would need better access to the bus. Yes it could be POP, but that is almost really pointless. The point is you need more people on and off the buses more quickly. As I said they really are not free, you just pay for it when you transfer to a train. As for within CBD movements, let the Congestion Pricing pay for it. If other neighborhoods want free buses, let them ban cars. ROAR |
