And that greed is also what unfortunately eliminated Sunday meters in the city. It used to be that Sunday metering was only done in places where it made sense, where business did not diminish on Sunday. The DOT decided in its infinite wisdom that practically every place should have meters charge on Sunday, so the City Council eliminated Sunday meters citywide, even where it makes sense. |
