However, you could get the issue that the officers never identified themselves and one easily thought they were robbers (and they turned out to be real officers). If someone has never been stopped before (and the area is somewhat high crime), this could present a problem. It happened in the London Underground, where the officers have been allowed to escape all criminal responsibility (although the Police Department there has been hit with criminal charges). |
