Yes, I admit that they still function--very well for an aging fleet, much better than those Slants and R44's. At least Budd was revolutionary enough and had enough foresight to make subway cars out of stainless steel and not that deteriorating laht that those Redbirds, R16's and other old 50's-60's era IRT and IND/BMT had.
