Sheepshead Bay has them, so does Qveensborovgh Plaza (upper level) and 161st St-Yankee Stadium. They take sodium vapor bulbs. The casting was taken from a 1917 original. I was surprised that when they did Atlantic Avenue on the "L" that they didn't do a retrofit there. Same for Broadway Junction ("J"). Maybe when they get rid of those silly goosenecks they'll put in some "Myrtles".wayne |
