North and South Channel swing Bridges |

Posted by NEPONSIT2006 on Sat Jun 24 08:14:31 2006 Just wondering if anybody out there has any photos of the construction of the North and South Channel swing Bridges? Yes I know they were constructed during the early 1950's, maybe around 1955 not sure, however I seen pictures of the LIRR Bridge prio to the IND Coming here to the Rocaways. It would be interesting to see how they built them. |
