Click on the picture: If anyone's interested, I've started putting more of the Emery maps on my website. Here are some of the Main Line from Winfield to Whitepot Junction - it shows when the line was 6 tracks wide at this time, when the Rockaway branch was still operating. Also shown are the former Rego Park, Grand St. and Winfield stations. Winfield Grand St. LIE Crossing Whitepot By the way, there are a total of 371 of these maps (at least that's how many I have, and I'm missing a few) - most of them run from one milepost to the next. It amazes me of the amount of time and research it must have taken Mr. Emery to draw these maps! |
