That's when I walked it....in the early 90's. That's when I took the photos. I walked part of it in the sumnmer (when I took the photos of WOodhaven), but we stopped because the place further along was infested with poison ivy, and we only had shorts on, not to mention I get poison ivy if I walk through it (as does the friend I was with), so we left the ROW.
I went on a walking tour of the line from Whitepot south to about Parkside. After the tour, we Walked down to the LIRR Montauk Branch, where the spot where the bridge over the Montauk Branch burnt down (it was wood).
