My re-tile was going to be "Citizens buying stolen Nikes". Bet the buyers are politically 50-50 too.More constructively, I learned long ago to swap the people and viewpoints in an argument 180 degrees before coming to a conclusion. It tended to remove the natural emotional reactions and dig into the actual underlying facts. There's whole list of fallacies that people unwittingly let slip into their conversations. Getting them out would reduce the divisions amongst us. Bill |
