The article is incorrect they did not take the train to Queens.. There's a homesignal just north of that station on F3 track, the dummies would have ran the homesignal at Danger if they did it that way.Also there's a switch there as well they would have most likely split it and possibly derailed the train... The article did not state that the mischief makers took the train to Queens. They went some distance then brought it back to roughly where they found it. The next day, an MTA train operator took it in service to Queens. It was there that the t/o discovered the damage that was done. |
