According to this People Magazine article, the mischief makers took the train from 36/4th Ave, rode a distance, then brought it back to where the took it. The next day, a m/m(train operator) took the train in service to Queens, at which point he noticed the damage the m/m(mischief makers) did.The article is incorrect they did not take the train to Queens.. There's a homesignal just north of that station on F3 track, the dummies would have ran the homesignal at Danger if they did it that way. Also there's a switch there as well they would have most likely split it and possibly derailed the train... |
