I totally agree with you on this - and I will take it further in that to prevent relatives from filing lawsuits to claim money for the actions of those who put themselves in harms way figuring that the MTA has deep pockets for them to access - get the laws changed so that injuries sustained while committing a crime will not be compensated, period. Remove the financial incentive and the frivilous lawsuits will dry up. |
