And on this date in 1980, I took my last trip to the city before heading out west to Colorado. Saw an R-10 Ethel train at World Trade Center station and an R-46 CC. Four years would pass before I would be back in New York, at that time a record time span for me. It has since been eclipsed; I haven't been to New York since 2019. |
