A northbound “M” train keyed by signal on the West End Line near Fort Hamilton Parkway. It collided with the “B” train in front of it. How does something like this happen? Is it completely t/o error? Doesn't the t/o need permission to key by? And isn't keying by done at a slow speed? And then the train would have to speed up to cause such a serious collision? All on open outside track with clear views ahead? Was that t/o injured? Fired? |
