There is no reason that they should not operate together, safely. There are operating characteristics that are slightly different between the 68 and 68A, as I'm certain you are aware, but those differences do not affect the safe operation of the train. From one end, the train will feel like an R68 and from the other, an R68A. Perfectly okay in either direction, despite the myths. |
