Although both groups of Multis WH and GE could run together, their operating characteristics proved rather interesting. GE Multis had eddy current braking and WH cars had dynamic braking, which were similar but not completely identical. Mixed trains of both types would often buck like crazy when coupled together. The R-68/68A mix most likely operate the same way. As a side note, there were 2 groups of GOHed R-32s one with NYAB and the other with WABCO and they also operated in mixed trains. How did those trains operate?
