Quoting below from a post on rr.net by a poster "workextra" who is generally a good source.The official reason is the M3 fleet was not rebuilt with the ESA cab signal aspects on their ADU if they run into ESA they will detect a no code condition and display a restricting aspect the whole way. The m3 will make the grades but officially have never been tested there. Despite the use of the term by both you and "workextra", I don't know that there is any "official line" that has been made public. |
