Since the front end, even when coupled into the middle of a train will not be used by passengers, the outer chains are less necessary. Also, if you look at the edges, there are notches that look like where those chains can go. So it’s possible that they’ll have them, but the plan is to remove them completely and not “store” them by wrapping around the end of the train. That remains to be seen. |
