Traces of it are easy to find.In February 2010, I took my own walking tour in Van Cortlndt Park, and I identified almost the whole ROW from Caryl Avenue to where it joined the "mainline" Put- which is now an official trail (Getty Square Branch is not). If anyone's interested, the easiest way to fund the GSQ branch is to start at the corner of Broadway and Mosholu Avenue, enter the park, and fid the abutments. Then, chose right or left, and climb/follow the embankment. At least in 201, there was still ballast on the overpass over the Saw Mill Parkway |
