I found it very depressing seeing those photos. I am sure it would be a very busy line today, perhaps blossoming like the L or G line, which could have been given up for dead 30 years ago.By now the proposed R39L would have come up for replacements. Blowhard Ronan managed to weasel out of it all. Culver Shuttle, OTOH, I don't think had any potential, especially once BMT Lawrence Street was rebuilt. I liked Lunchenettes. Now I like Greek coffee shops and diners (not Starbucks, DD, etc.) |
