The point however are those that claim this was done as some "tribute to the Confederacy" because of a former owner of the New york Times. But that's hogwash, as the same Random design was also used at Penn Station it has been discovered (although with that station's color scheme instead). So that crap is all out the window.The point is, racists will be racists, and those that search out for manufactured racism will do so anyway. But it's okay to point out when they are being silly, just as it's okay to point out when someone actually is being racist. No need to manufacture where it doesn't exist. |
