The right to bare arms is a constitutional right, eating on the subway is not.AlM mentioned guns, not arms. There is no right to own guns. Gun ownership is a privilege that you must affirmatively prove you need and can be revoked at any time. It's true that the US is extremely lax about actually restricting this privilege. It's also true that the US has a disproportionately high murder rate, attributable entirely to its refusal to restrict gun ownership. |
