IMHO:Cycle all Empire service out of Penn. Station a cleaning/carman gang there for the duration. Send all NJCL service to Hoboken and suspend Midtown Direct service with those trains going to Hoboken as well. Have LIRR Long Branch Trains go to Atlantic. Make all Port Jeff trains start at Huntington and all Montauk/Oyster Bay trains start at Jamaica. |
