Why snub Hunterpoint ?Send all the Port Jeff and South Shore trains there. Reclaim and electrify the Lower Montauk line. Build several platforms at Long Island City. Establish a ferry connection to Manhattan. You now have an extra western terminal that can greatly reduce the load on Penn Station— and which can probably be built well before ESA is finished. |
