Why is that silly ? Should Amtrak be serving La Salle or Randolph St/Millenium station in Chicago ?

They did it to save MN track access charges, consolidate maintenance, and cycle equipment, especially now with no CHI-PGH-NYP service (except for that silly Cardinal).
