Other issues would be getting the passengers from GCT to NYP assuming that ticketing would still be to Penn since no Amtrak ticket facilities exist at GCT.Lack of ticket facilities at GCT isn't a big deal since Amtrak uses eticketing. Worst case scenario, they could pay Metro-North to handle what few passengers actually need to book, buy, and print tickets at GCT, similar to how VIA Rail handles their ticketing in Montreal. |
