I have Chase Mastercard that has no foreign transaction fees, so I use it for Canada. I specifically asked them for a replacement card with a chip in case they use them more universally than here.BTW, forget about using Discover Card if you go to Canada. I have yet to find a place that takes it, even in touristy Montreal with lots of Americans. VIA Rail won't take it. |
