Told them the bill got lost in the mail (truth..got whacked with a late fee too)' The reply was I should have taken their advantage of their on line banking services. Therefore, "I don't qualify for a rate reduction at this time"...a direct quote from a live customer service rep. I'd have had a few problems with other banks spanning several years & they always responded favorably to my phone call by waiving the penalty & not raising the interest to usurious rates. Not Citibank |
