Not dis-agreeing.My point is that the route name had little to nothing to do with the borough name. That is unlike the bus system - where the Bx19 represents the Bronx bus number 18, while the B19 represents the Brooklyn bus number 19. There are other examples for bus routes in NYC. For the subways there is not something equivalent. That was my point. Mike |
