It would really make little sense to name only one or two lines which operate totally within one borough since most of the lines operate in more than one borough and at one time the C operated in all four boroughs that are served by the NYCTS. In that case which borough letter would you assign to that one. Almost all the other subway lines operate in 3 boroughs and with the exception of the ones you mentioned all operate in at least two. |
