You could get a paper transfer for Jay Street, only if you paid your fare at Sumner Ave (and lived to use it!), or any other station south of it. Heading to Brooklyn, you had to request one at Broadway-Nassau. I could never understand why they didn't have ticket machines at Bridge- Jay/Boro hall, like the ones at Fulton/Franklin! |
