Unfortunately Engineers doze off more then we like to say. I've been a engineer 19+ years first with CSX and now Amtrak. Especially working in freight pool service or my early years at Amtrak on the xtra board. And that fra 8 hours between shifts is nonsense, by time u get home and get sleep ur lucky to get 3 or 4 good hours of sleep.I had hoped this accident wasn't his fault and now it appears it is. It wasn't willful but still his fault. and olog-hai I don't drink coffee or soda so what do I do?? craig |
