The carsthat were assigned to the 3rd Ave. El were:R-12 5753-5802 & R-14 5803-5806. Only 5804-5806 were reassigned to the #2 after the El closed on April 28, 1973. These cars were assigned to the El in 1969 when the Lo-V cars were retired. None of the cars assigned to the El had a PA system installed. |
