I rode the Q cars several times in the 60`s and could see the old El outside my kitchen window. During snow storms you could see the Q cars arcing and sparking. Plus Grandmas apartment was right next to the tracks at Sumner Ave. It always kept this very young man captivated and entertained. It was a sad day when they discontinued service and tore the EL down. |
