Reminds me of about two or three years ago on the M shuttle one Sunday morning. I was waiting for an M at Forest Ave, and the train pulled in, and the while most of the four car train was full, the second car (which was the doorway where I was getting on) was completely empty except for some homeless guy sleeping on one of the benches. I walked in, and soon realized why the car was empty. Man did it smell in there. I ran gagging to the storm door to walk into the first car, and you could see the smirks on the other people's faces in that car, knowing why I came running in. It was humerous all the way to Myrtle-Bway, as at each station you would see a bunch of people gasping for air running into the first (or I ssume the third car too). Once at Myrtle, we all got off for the J, and he homeless guy and his smelly car was back to Metro again...He must have been circling back and forth on the shuttle all night between Myrtle and Metro the way that car smelt! |
