I've heard many conflicting stories about that including that, non-union diggers and a coverup, as well as "screw it, we'll just use the BMT" ... honestly don't know WHY they did it, all I know is that too many people who didn't have any reason to screw around all said it was out there.The ONE thing everybody did agree on was that there WAS a partially built station there with little else other than the tunnel, empty trackbeds and little else down there. |
