There are tables, etc in the south car. Two of the big side windows are covered with plexiglass with large holes for electrical wiring going into the car. The cars have their trucks and the trolley shoes are tied up. I would presume they'll be towed to Skokie for scrapping, but they could still be capable of self powered movement. Someone turned the headlights on weeks ago. The batteries stay charged probably because they're on a live track or maybe the outside wiring is charging the battery circuit.DH |
