No. The R38 (I'll take your word for it), R40 and R42 had a Darth Vader exhaling type sound. The R10/16/27/30/32 all sounded like an R36WF SMEE. The R46 had a whistle sound. Only the R44 retains something very close to the kind of brake noise they made prior to GOH. I had .wav files of an R42, but my computer crash wiped them out. |
