In the 1950's kids were being warned about the glue that was being used to build models well I never had any problems buying glue from Nagangast the owner, as he knew my parents very well and knew I wasn't into that sniffing glue thing, I knew his son but not his daughter as she was about six and I was about twelve as was his son, I just wish I had all those AMT cars I bought as I had about every model they came out with Mr Nagangast saw to that as soon as one was released he would save it for me what a great man he was, the drug store on Fresh Pond and 68 th with Bob the owner directly across from Nagangast and the old army and navy store with WW 2 rignition airplanes hanging from the store front ceilling, and the trolley car tracks poping up through the blacktop all over the place ahhhh the memories....
