Thanks, I miss the ol neighborhood, right next to the apartment bldg was a billards hall down in the basement of that building,it was a hangout for a lot of the older kids, and accross from the tv store was a soda malt shop Von Brown's I think...almost every Sat evening mostly the high school boys would gather outside and sing and harmonize the popular doo wop songs from the 50's and 60's we could hear them from out window facing the Fresh Pond train station,I plan on visiting N.Y.C. next summer and this will be on my visit stop for shure, thanks monorail.
