One Sunday in early 1970 when I was working the RR, I had a train composed of 2 R-42s 1 R-16, 2 R-27s, 1 R-16 and 2 R-42s. It ran like S**t and it got so slow that it went O/S N/B at Lex/60 St ran light to Astoria and light back to 36/4 where it was taken by a drill M/M to CIYd.
