You, sir, brought up the general budget mess in an oblique way. My parents worked for those crooks so I grew up with regular tales of waste back in Ike's time. It has only gotten worse. In any event, the point is that the sum of money is tiny. As a taxpayer, I have as much (and no more) right than you to an opinion as to how our taxes should be spent. I favor trains/transit. Your mileage may vary. |
