The South Shore, again I believe this is a K-line product. A very close representation, but the devotee would see the omissions or additions that the originals had. K-line modified their scale, then their semi-scale heavyweights to produce interurbans and commuter cars. MTH modified their semi-scale heavyweights with coaches and combines. Lionel was the closest to the original with the Pennsylvania coach and combine, with owl eyes. Later RR's still had owl eyes, and their Long Island RR version had pantographs! |
