No fucking way the NYCTA will sue another transit agency for swiping their symbols. If they moan about it, then LACMTA will use another shape like triangles, squares, Pentagons, etc. In fact, SFMTA uses bullets for their light rail system.If that thinking was prevalent, then the MBTA should sue every transit agency in the USA and Canada for ripping off their way of identifying subway lines [by color] since they pioneered it in the 1960's, not to mention Metro Transit in Minneapolis for using the T logo. |
